Gabriella Calleja

I am a 38 year old, out and proud lesbian and I have been active in the field of LGBT rights for the past seven years seeking to raise the visibility of LGBT issues. I currently occupy the role of coordinator with the Malta Gay Rights Movement having previously served as Social Welfare Officer helping to set up the National Gay Helpline. I am a Youth and Community Worker by profession and currently hold the position of Project Manager at the ACCESS Cottonera Community Resource Centre. I am committed to achieving equality for LGBT persons in Malta and abroad. And believe the EU should play a stronger role in pressing for the decriminalization of homosexuality in countries all over the world.
