Definitely one of the issues which crop
up on the national and the European agenda time and time again.
The issue is debated, and arguments can become emotional. What are
the aspects and surrounding issues on immigration? Is immigration
necessarily a good or a bad thing? Or both? What do you expect from
Malta’s representatives in the European Parliament, and what
specific actions and arguments should they pursue in connection
with the issue of immigration? This is what our opinion leaders told

Immigrazzjoni
Huwa
zgur li wahda mill-kwistjonijiet li jispiccaw fuq l-agenda nazzjonali
u Ewropea hija dik dwar l-immigrazzjoni. Din il-kwistjoni hija suggett
ta’ dibattitu, u l-argumenti jistghu ikunu ukoll emottivi.
X’inhuma l-aspetti u l-argumenti dwar l-immigrazzjoni? L-immigrazzjoni
hija necessarjament xio haga tajba, jew hazina? Jew it-tnejn? X’tistenna
mir-rapprezentaanti Maltin fil-Parlament Ewropew, u x’azzjonijiet
u argumenti ghandhom jiehdu u jaghmlu fiq dan is-suggett? Dan huwa
dak li ghandhom xi jghidu l-opinjonisti taghna……
Ghidilna x’tahseb inti ukoll…..

Immigration in the Maltese Islands has

come to view irregular immigrants and refugees as a ‘threat’;
a threat to law abiding citizens, our country, our jobs and even
our economy and there is a growing feeling that the EU has abandoned
us on the matter. Read more >
